RAKU Friday 8/23 5PM

Join us for a fun Raku Firing. Friday August 23rd starting at 5 pm. You will first glaze your piece with Raku Glazes. Once the glazing is done the real fun starts. Your pieces will be fired in a kiln outside, pulled out of the kiln red hot, and then placed into a bun barrel with shredded paper to be burned and activate some cool aspects of the glaze.

PIECES MUST BE PICKED OUT NO LATER THAN FRIDAY 8/16 , so we can make sure they are ready. Otherwise you will have to pick a piece we have available on the shelf. Pieces cannot have any attachments. If you choose a piece with holes or cut outs, PLEASE UNDERSTAND YOU RUN THE RISK OF CRACKING Pieces cannot be large that 12" Tall or 12" around., and no flat items. 

Firing Fee for the first piece is $40 which you will pay for online. 

Cost of the piece depends on what you select. 

Additional firings will be a cost of $10 that you will pay for the day of your event, should you choose to do another piece.
